1. Wedge Landing Spots (Towel Drill)

THE DETAIL

Amateurs look at the flag; pros look at a 3-foot circle where the ball needs to land to release to the flag.

THE EXECUTION

Drop a golf towel flat on the range at exactly 50, 70, or 90 yards. Land the ball directly on the towel.

THE DETAIL

The ultimate test for zero-offset blades. One degree open or closed and this drill exposes it instantly.

THE EXECUTION

Place alignment stick outside ball + two vertical rods 6-8 ft ahead creating a 2-ft gate. Hit 7-iron straight through.

Because you swing hard, an 8-iron balloons. One extra club + flighted shot keeps the ball piercing forward.

Choke down 1 inch, ball back one width, 75% swing, low abbreviated finish.
